This Pocket Guide is Very Good for Operational Staff in HealthcareJun 08, 2009
By Rochelle R. Stafford We found this pocket guide, with the additional case studies, photos, as well as the physician's group case study, to be a superb reference guide for our operational staff. The book is written with very clear steps to serve as a guide for others to follow. We also started recently using the Value Stream Management for Lean Healthcare book in our training courses, and with this pocket guide, we now have a comprehensive healthcare training program. Great value!

A Must Read For Everyone In HealthcareJan 07, 2012
By Manjinder With health care costs rising at an exponential rate, the entire health system needs to find ways to increase efficiencies and reduce / eliminate waste thus control the costs and provide better service. The healthcare pocket guide is a great start and provides a number of tools with examples and pictures to achieve lean. The basis concepts of Pull, Standard Work and 5S are explained very clearly.
