The Lean Manufacturing Employee Training ManualDec 06, 2005
By Jeffrey L. Long Being a newcomer to Lean Manufacturing, this book enabled me to bring the lean concepts to my employees in an easy to learn format. Now everyone in my small business is on the same page as we implement these Lean Manufacturing Techniques at every level of the company. We have already seen savings from cutting our wastes and using the Just-in-Time process!

A lean overview of lean manufacturingJan 05, 2009
By GM-Seattle This is a great, SHORT overview and study guide for lean manufacturing. Kind of pricey for the length but why have 500 repetitive examples. Isn't that the antithesis of LEAN? I have read many 300 and 500 page books on lean, 5s and six sigma. Always after the first 100 pages, I ask myself why more? This keeps it short. Good job.

The Lean Manufacturing Employee Training ManualAug 30, 2005
By Robert W. Haines Good overall outline for Lean Manufacturing training but weak on detailed content. If you are not already a "Lean" practitioner, this book is not going to be helpful in establishing employee training course detailed content.

Very good bookOct 10, 2007
By William H. Trudell Jr. As simple as this book is I really like it. I used it to teach daily lessons on Lean to the company staff. Nice book for the money. I also recommend the book Lean Six Sigma That Works: A Powerful Action Plan for Dramatically Improving Quality, Increasing Speed, And Reducing Waste
