5At last something great on Lean Six Sigma deployment!Jan 20, 2010
By R. Gillespie
There are many books out there on the techniques of Lean Six Sigma, but so few treat deployment and program implementation beyond a few statements on 'motherhood.' It's great to find a workbook that explains in plain language what has to be done and where the traps are; it's even better to read authors who have 'been there' and are able to provide both the tools to do the job and valuable insights into what really goes on. Vince Fayad personally led one of the most successful international Lean Six Sigma deployments in the last decade and knows perfectly what he is talking about; add to that his insight into human behavior during change and its cultural effects, and I find that this is a book that no change professional can do without.

5Workbook and vauable referenceJan 05, 2010
By John Manuck
This book has been a valuable reference for our company as we seek world class performance. All of the concepts are sequenced and flow well together. Our personnel are using it as a workbook for various training classes, but i also recommend it as a reference manual when you need a refresher on a particular topic. The authors live in the real world of manufacturing so the methods are directly applicable to the shop floor.

5Lean Manufacturing for Your Whole OrganizationDec 23, 2009

Lean Policy Deployment makes you take a very good look at the organization of your company - What are our goals? And what concrete steps are we going to take to reach those goals? Using the principles of lean manufacturing, the book takes you through how to plan for the success of your company by setting goals that stretch you beyond your comfort zone and providing you tools to find solutions to reaching your initiatives. In the year that we have had this program up and running, we have seen enormous progress in many areas, including those that seemed insurmountable or had been placed on the back burner in the past.

5Policy Deployment made easyDec 18, 2009

Having worked with the authors personally I can tell you that their method for policy deployment is absolutely the best. The processes discussed in the book force company decision makers to set clear, attainable goals that every company associate can understand and contribute to achieving. The book is written in a clear, easy to follow step-by-step process method. It allowed our company to achieve over $1,000,000 in savings the first year we employed the process!
