Don't really work for grocery listsMar 21, 2009
By RL's Kindle As an earlier comment noted, there is no documentation so I didn't know if I was just missing something, but I thought I'd be able to create at least a simple grocery list. Doesn't do that. Well, yes, I could put each grocery item in the 8 "notes" slots, but this tool just adds the little superscript "1", "2", etc., showing that there is a note attached. To actually see what you have entered, you have to select that superscript number, and then your content is displayed at the bottom of the screen. To see the next item, you've got to move the cursor. Or, you can put the entire list in one note, but then you can't see the whole thing easily. If you put one grocery item per Note, you can use the menu to see all the Highlights, but again, that's too many steps. I was hoping to just open the document and see the grocery list. I'm not sure why this is called an "application", since it seems to be a Word document that someone is selling you to download. My $.02 is that it's worth about $.10 (the cost of a download of your own doc), definitely not $.80. I've deleted this application and will create a doc with a design that I like, e.g. with the Note titles near the top, to save on cursoring, and will send it to my Kindle. Voila, same functionality, $.10 cost (if you spring for whispernet download.)

Not quite worth $.80Mar 22, 2009
By Terri Michel This product is not a true notebook. The description is a bit misleading because it sounds like you have a different sort of access or interface with their product. When I read that you would click on the note to "add note" and then click "done", I thought there would be something new going on. All this product does is give you a place to add your typical "footnote" type Kindle notes.
This product is useful for those who are too lazy or uncomfortable using the USB interface and creating their own files for their Kindle. You could make yourself one of these files quite easily for less than $.80.

By John Rasberry Tried it but was not impressed. Not sure it I was using it correctly since could not find any instruction. Bottomline, kindle is not a writing tablet yet.

Don't waste your money!Oct 23, 2010
By Sam Instead of spending a dollar on this you could just make one for FREE. Just go to microsoft works go to blank word processor and type up your notepad and save it as a txt file and the connect your kindle to your computer create a file then open the file you just made then add a sub file. then open your documents folder and drag your note pad to the subfile and then go back to the first screen and drop your notepad file into your kindle's documents folder, unplug your kindle and there you have it a Free notepad! In these tough economic times everybodys looking for some ways to save a little extra money, the last thing you want to by for your kindle is this. Trust me, don't buy it.
