Overall dimensions: 1-3/8" wide, 5-1/2" long (closed), 4" high (open).
Mounting holes: 0.215" diameter (slightly oval shaped), spaced 7/8" by 1", total base footprint is 1-3/8" by 1-7/16".
Spindle clamping height: adjustable from 1/4" to -1/8" using the included hardware (you'll have to build a base adapter to clamp thicker materials).
Spindle (center) distance to edge of base: adjustable from 5/8" to 2".
Spindle contact size: 3/8" diameter.
Spindle tip is not replacable (it's fused to the spindle bolt).
Medium duty construction (0.077" thick steel), riveted together.
This is a nice small light to medium duty clamp. I give it five stars for the product itself, but no stars to Amazon for publishing a product like this without including the dimensions.

These toggle clamps and the other variations are just the ticket for jigs and custom clamping device's. Highly adjustable for almost any application, they have too many uses to list in a couple thousand words. I use them on sleds, fences, jigs for cutting miters on small pieces, hold downs for the chop saw and on the drill press, and on the bench to hold small pieces while I carve or sand profiles on them. Once you get a couple and use em, the idea's will flow.

Small version of MSI-Pro 225-DJan 31, 2012

This is a smaller version of the MSI-Pro 225-D. I couldn't tell what the difference was before buying, so I bought both. The 225-D is made from 3/32" steel, whereas the 201-B is made from 1/16" steel. Both seem reasonably well made, but if I had known the difference I would have bought two of the 225-D instead of one of each, because the 225-D is cheaper and more heavy-duty. If you need a smaller clamp, however, the 201-B might be the better choice.

These have been around for years and do just what they are intended to do. I'm sure there are other types/brands out there but this line of clamps has always done the trick for me. I use them in making jigs for guitar building.

Excellent for wood working projectsNov 02, 2010

I'm currently in the process of building radiator covers for my house. There are a bunch of pieces that require cut that are a little too close to the table saw blade for my liking, so I decided to make a jig. These clamps make the process really easy to clamp the wood, feed it through the saw, remove the cut piece and start again.
I highly recommend these clamps if you have a project where you need to make multiple copies of the same item such as this.
